I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
